Potential climate/ disaster impacts addressed by approach & Justification for approach:

The vast majority of Mexican cities have problems with water, either due to lack of quality and quantity, or flooding and waterlogging caused by heavy rains. Both phenomena are expected to increase in the coming years due to climate change due to the increase in droughts and torrential rain.

Process of Implementation:

The tool enables the identification of status quo of climate policy in metropolitan areas and helps identifying the main risks to which the region is exposed in order to integrate this information into the selection of priority projects (green infrastructure projects).
