Potential climate/ disaster impacts addressed by approach & Justification for approach:
The vast majority of Mexican cities have problems with water, either due to lack of quality and quantity, or flooding and waterlogging caused by heavy rains. Both phenomena are expected to increase in the coming years due to climate change due to the increase in droughts and torrential rain.
Process of Implementation:
1) Selection of neighborhoods and communities. (2) Identification of territories for the installation of orchards. (3) Generation of the call to participate. (4) Training of participants. (5) Guidance at least during the first cycle of the harvest.
