Potential climate/ disaster impacts addressed by approach & Justification for approach:
The project aimed to develop a public policy to address risk management, including urban resilience, risk management and adaptation to climate change.
Process of Implementation:
The public policy was developed through an extensive participation process including diverse governmental and non-governmental stakeholders and a co-construction process. Innovative measures for this objective included the generation of civic reflection spaces, pilot projects, generation of open citizen data and citizen agendas; also, an important tool was the city scope for participatory and digital urban planning.
